Volunteering for Adopt-a-Pet is always a treat and a surprise! Armed with rakes to rake the walking trails, our group soon found itself drilling post holes, setting the posts, fastening 2×4 boards to the posts, and fastening pallets to the boards. Once completely assembled, green garden cloth will be attached to the pallets. The result will be a new Halloween maze for the 2021 Halloween fun at Adopt-a-Pet!

Last year, the Halloween walk raised $35,000 from their Halloween celebration, funds much needed to support their program through the pandemic. Adopt-a-Pet is always looking for ways to enlarge its purpose in caring for and adopting out its furry friends.
