The “Mission” rotation runs through October 18th. Mission means to send out to serve or help others. Paul was the first missionary to the Gentiles, going from town to town, carrying the good news to many, and writing about it to others. As a result of Paul’s missionary efforts, new churches were formed in many cities of the Roman world. Paul recruited other Christians to minister to their needs and spread the good news even farther. The children will learn of Paul and his followers, discover who are missionaries today, and decide how they, too, can be missionaries for Christ.
The memory verse is: Acts 20:24 But nothing, not even my life, is more important than completing my mission. This is the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus: to testify about the good news of God’s grace.
