The “Jonah” rotation runs April 27 – May 18.  Jonah disobeyed God, and so did the people of Ninevah. God forgave them and gave them all a second chance. The children will experience and understand the feelings of alienation from God, and the exhilaration of God’s forgiveness and compassion. They will practice this through the planned activities and learn how to incorporate this in daily life.

The memory verse is:  Jonah 2:2    “In my distress, O Lord, I called to you and you answered me…I cried for help and you heard me.”
